Meet the Founder

It became even more personal after undergoing hip surgery—Pilates played a key role in my recovery, strengthening my body and restoring my mobility. As an avid runner, it has allowed me to return to the sport I love with greater strength and resilience. This experience also gave me a profound understanding of movement limitations, allowing me to connect deeply with those who feel restricted and empower them to move with confidence and ease. It ignited my mission to help others move better, feel stronger, and prevent injury through intelligent, mindful movement.

I am a Balanced Body Comprehensive Pilates Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, and Exercise & Health Coach, with over 2,000 hours of study and 10,000+ teaching hours. Over the years, I’ve worked with athletes, desk workers, new mums and older adults, helping them achieve their individual fitness and mobility goals.

I live on the beautiful West Coast of Ireland with my husband and daughter, where I balance family life with my passion for helping others move better, feel stronger, and build resilience through Pilates.

My professional journey into fitness began 20 years ago, and soon after, I discovered the transformative benefits of Pilates. It wasn’t just the physical benefits that caught my attention, but particularly how Pilates helped to calm and focus the mind, relieving stress and anxiety. That aspect was what got me hooked. As a young fitness instructor, I was drawn to how the precise movements made Pilates so competitive in a way; I wanted to master them all. This balance of mental clarity and physical challenge became my driving force in the fitness world.

My teaching style blends the precision and flow of Classical Pilates with the adaptability of Contemporary Pilates.

Having come from the fitness world, with a background in modern movement science, anatomy, biomechanics, and functional exercise, I focus on movement that is both effective and safe. I chose to complete my comprehensive teacher training with Balanced Body because of its strong foundation in both classical and contemporary Pilates, allowing me to teach with a well-rounded and adaptable approach.

While I honor the traditional Pilates method, I also tailor sessions to meet individual needs, because not every body moves the same way.
